I think Sunday is probably my favourite day of the week. I can potter around the house doing a few jobs in the morning, eat a huge roast and then spend the evening having a mini pamper night (finding time for a face mask) - pure bliss.

May Favourites
MAKEUP
Maybelline Colour Tattoo - Metallic Pomegranate: I am seriously obsessed with these Colour Tattoos! They are so easy to use, so easy to blend and so long lasting! What more could you want? Metallic Pomegranate is a gorgeous burnt red/burgundy/purple-ish colour which is so unique and I think it really brings out my green eyes. I don't think it is as long lasting as the On and On Bronze shade or the leather effect version, however the colour is just so stunning it has definitely been my favourite of the month.

My Origins Obsession
This is basically an ode to my favourite moisturiser of the season, Orgins GinZing Moisturiser. Its lightweight texture and gorgeous citrus scent make sit perfect for this time of year in the UK. It may not be the most hydrating, but it gives the most amazing glow, leaving your skin feeling revitalised and energised.

Brush Starter Kit
This was meant to be a 'top 5 makeup brushes' post, but I found it far too difficult to choose my favourites. So I decided to create a sort of 'starter kit' showing some brilliant multitaskers, perfect for people who only want a small brush collection. It is also a great travel kit as it covers all bases without being too bulky.

Stranded on a Desert Island...
I have been really into watch Bear Grylls The Island recently, which is about how well 14 men and 14 women stranded on two islands work together to survive. With the last episode of the men's island on tonight at 9pm I got thinking about what my top 5 beauty must haves would be if I was stranded. *Little disclaimer, this obviously does not count food, water or a way of getting off the island, because that ruins the fun of it.*

The Review: Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour
Now I know I am slightly late on the bandwagon here, but I wanted to make sure I could give an honest opinion.
Firstly, the packaging *swoon*, I am in love, they are simply gorgeous. Although, I have to confess these were my first Chanel purchases which makes them seem 100x more beautiful.

Empties
Just as I have finally settled into a routine that my skin seems to agree with many of the products I use have run out, typical! Although, I used to jump from product to product so it's quite exciting to have finally finished some.
