The Body Shop Hauling

This week The Body Shop had 40% off everything, free delivery and a free gift, how can anyone resist that! I haven't tried most of this yet, but I thought I would show you the few bits I picked up.

I picked this one up on a bit of a whim as I hadn't heard anything about it before, but it claims it 'cleanses, polishes and moisturises' which sounds perfect for a mask. It smells divine, and really reminds me of a strawberry and banana breakfast smoothie (with oats and honey in). It has an intensely thick and bitty texture, unlike anything I have ever tried before, so I can't wait to give it a go, I will report back once I have tried it a few times, but the smell has already done it for me!

After hearing just about everyone rave about this product I thought it was finally time to give it a go. Honestly, I am not blown away by the packaging, it's an awkward flat but quite large shape which makes it difficult to store. The product itself looks very similar to the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm, but it has a very relaxing scent to it, which will hopefully make it lovely to use in the evenings. At just over half the price I can't wait to see if it performs as well.

Vitamin E Face Mist (£8.50):

I am having a serious moment with face mists, after picking up the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer earlier this week (review to come) I have wanted to try so many more. I am quite liking this one at the moment as it is a very fine mist and instantly hydrates and refreshes, however I have not been using to long enough to review fully.

The free gift was a 250ml shower gel, which I thought was pretty generous, in a range of different scents. I chose Satsuma as I have heard such good things about it, and it certainly lives up to the muchly hyped smell! It's like hundreds of of those tinned mandarin oranges (I think it smells more that them than satsumas) squeezed into a bottle.  Unfortunately, I can't actually use shower gels, for some reason my skin reacts badly to the lathering bit, but I am sure a friend will be more than willing to take it off my hands.

The Body Shop currently has a massive sale on and 30% off all non-sale items with the code 14586 if there is anything you fancy picking up.

  1. Oh, I love the scrub mask. I'm always apprehensive about using scrubs on my face because they're known to cause abrasions that can lead to more facial problems (like tears in skin = more chances for dirt and bacteria to get in!), but that one hasn't seemed to cause any problems. And the smell is amazing.
